It’s that time of the year.
We’re wrapping up the Old Year’s business and getting ready for the New Year’s.
This is also a good time to think about what you’ll do differently with your social media in 2018?
(You didn’t do anything with it in 2017? Not to worry, you’ve set yourself a very low bar!)
To help you, I have a few simple pointers.
(Trust me, I’ve learned the hard way that New Year’s Eve is a bad time to try and introduce anything complicated.)
First, ask yourself, what value did your social media produce for you last year?
Did it produce any?
If you had goals, how’d you measure up against them?
Now, with that information, what would you like your social media to do for you in the New Year?
Write it down!
Is it doable, reasonable?
What’s different about this idea than last year’s?
Finally, start planning ASAP to make your new social media efforts happen!
Only you can do this and there’s no time like the present.
(OK, do a little celebrating on New Year’s Eve then get started!)
It’s never too late to get started.
Take a disciplined approach and you’ll find that next New Year’s Eve, your social media results will look a lot better than this year’s!
