Could COVID possibly, really be coming to an end?
I’m not an expert and hopes have been raised and dashed before, but, maybe just maybe, this horrible pandemic may just be close to ending.
Although, I don’t know about the rest of you, but being endemic doesn’t sound much better then being pandemic.
But, on the off chance that it is coming to an end, what would it mean for your social media?
Let’s talk about that!
If you’ve been following along with me for the past two years then you know that I’ve been recommending social media as a way to stay in touch with your online communities and and to reach out and expand them virtually.
Would the end of COVID mean abandoning all this?
No, not at all!
I would encourage you to continue your activities on social media, but your message will change.
If you’re like me then you’re planning on reengaging with others at real life events.
Networking will be in person, events can be scheduled, and all those other things that we used to do pre-pandemic can be done again.
(Remember those?)
What’s important is to share all this on your social media.
Yes, some of your new found online community may not be as engaged as before or may drop off altogether.
However, I’m going to stick my neck out here and say that most will stick around especially if you give them a reason to do so.
I also recommend encouraging your followers to share how they’re reacting to the gradual return to normalcy.
Also, remember that the pandemic will not end at the same time everywhere, it’ll vary and there may even be relapses in some communities unfortunately.
Be supportive of others and listen to what they have to say.
I suspect that our journey back to real normalcy will have its ups and downs.
Your online community stuck with you through the rough times, don’t forget about them now that we may be leaving these behind.
That’s it for now!

Also, never forget to reach out to either ask questions or to ask for help from someone like myself!
In the meantime, thank you for following and reading my blog.
